Halloween

The year has flown past once again.
Tonight is Halloween.
The night when treats wait at the door
for tricksters eager for one gobstopper more.
Ghosts and goblins, Harry Potter and witches.
A night of visiting houses decked out
in holiday garb.
Pumpkins, cobwebs and spiders are
sought keenly by toffee lickers who know
that those houses are the places to go.
They not only put on a good show
but they hand out the best candy.
