Poem Wordcut

I have my poem sitting in a chair.
Words washed, draped with a towel.
Sitting at a mirror and waiting.
All paragraph endings available.

I have my scissors in my hand,
opening and closing nervously.
But what stays and goes.
What do I keep and what do I throw?
Ready to edit but where do I start?
Is end product more poignant,
more beautiful?
