Singing in Yarrawonga

I lingered longer in Yarrawonga
and had a lot of fun.
I got to meet the people
of the town and sang with
the high soprano ones.
I have sung Beneath the Wings
so i could audibly support
the sopranos who
sat near me.

Yarrawonga is a main street.
A beacon of culture in
the countryside.
We lit the dark with our songs.
We brought our passion
and our smiley stage face.

Today homeward I go.
Home to Jen and
home to rehearsal.
Is there something wrong with me?
I csn nevet get enough,
Of the songs and the singing.
Choral life is the
stuff that puts a
smile on my heart.
Thank you Jonathon
for alliwing me to take part.
