Blowing Speech Bubbles

I have learnt to
lean on my poetry
I ease my mind as I let words appear.
Like a bubble, they take shape before my eyes.
It starts with me and
it separates from me.
Floating away from me
with no backward glance
to say goodbye.

Other people see it and
may see their reflection
before it floats away and disappears.

I have learnt to lean upon
the beauty of that.
